Passionate followers of Ariana Grande are urging that a man who breached a fence and seized the celebrity during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or removed from Singapore.

A widely shared clip depicts the individual from Australia pushing past photographers and charging at Grande while the cast walked down a promenade accompanied by supporters.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo promptly guided the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being detained", though legal records showed that he was scheduled to be present on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

Pattern of Incidents

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram feed includes recordings of him interrupting other high-profile occasions, including jumping on stage at the pop singer's Sydney performance in recently and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers performance in the city last winter.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," commented an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his actions.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" a different Instagram user remarked.

Fans Express Concern Over Ariana's Well-being

Numerous followers blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had revealed dealing with PTSD after a devastating incident at the end of her 2017 show in Manchester, killing 22 people and wounding hundreds.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" wrote a further response on Instagram.

A number of attendees also criticised guards at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals demanded digital services to ban Mr Wen's uploads.

Response and Premiere Information

In videos circulating online, Grande seemed shocked when she was touched by the individual. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by staff.

Grande has not commented on the event, and the remaining proceedings carried on uninterrupted.

Hundreds of Singapore fans had lined up to see the performers of Wicked

Hundreds of supporters had congregated in a sea of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good international premiere in a Singapore venue, including several who had queued for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The movie, to be premiered on 21 November, is the follow-up of a two-part version of the popular theatrical production Wicked, which focuses on the surprising relationship between two distinct sorceresses.

The musical itself is a spin-off of the 1900 children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the character Glinda Glinda, was adorned in a rosé sequin dress at the event while Erivo, who acts as the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress decorated with roses.

They were accompanied by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful film of the previous year in the UK, and scored 10 award recognitions, securing several for excellent wardrobe and production design.
