Liverpool's Star Extends Apology to Liverpool Dressing Room, Reveals Curtis Jones
Jones has revealed that Salah apologised to the entire Liverpool squad after the controversy from his public comments.

“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I apologise.’”

Jones insisted that the squad's reaction stayed normal. “Nothing about him changed, his demeanour was positive and it was business as usual,” he continued.
The midfielder also implied that a teammate fighting for a place is preferable. “I understand there are different methods you can go about things,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just be on the bench, then I think that’s more of an issue.”

The team's performance have stayed unbeaten in the period after the initial controversy. Jones believes the forward's comments were never meant to harm the team.
“If passion has boiled over, it has consistently come from a good place,” the midfielder stated. “That chapter is closed and we’re building chemistry, getting results and starting to win games.”
