The fifth season of Netflix's otherworldly smash hit the show is expected to be a major shows of this year. The initial episodes premieres on November 27, but a preview of the spine-tingling opening five minutes has been released on the internet.

The Beginning: A Flashback to 1983

This installment, titled the prologue, takes fans back to the start of the series in 1983, in the wake of the loss of the boy.

"Should I stay or should I go?" Will sings in an effort to keep calm in the alternate dimension.

Events swiftly escalate into terrifying when a monstrous creature emerges and drags the boy to the lair of Vecna. "Finally, we can begin," he tells the captive while shooting a plant-like appendage down his throat. "You and I, we are going to do truly magnificent things in unison."

The concluding half of the ultimate installment will air on Boxing Day, and the final episode available on New Year's Day – additionally set for screened in certain cinemas.

The synopsis explains: "The fall of 1987. The town is scarred by the emergence of gateways, and the protagonists join forces by one objective: find and kill the foe. However he has disappeared – where he is and schemes unknown. Production Insights

The unexpected preview was shared on the video platform subsequent to the series' Hollywood event a few days ago, with appearances from cast members including the lead actress and her co-star.
